The Mental Health Series is a collection of events that use film and virtual reality to spark discussions and dialogue around mental health and addiction.   

In the final event of the series, Wellness Services will be hosting a screening of the recently released documentary Painkiller: Inside the Opioid Crisis. This documentary dives into the opioid crisis in Canada and tells the human story behind the epidemic through the perspectives of frontline responders, addictions specialists and families who have been intimately impacted by this crisis. 

Following the showing of the documentary there will be a panel discussion about addiction, opioids, and mental health.  

Come join us for snacks and discussions about a pressing crisis affecting our communities, and the supports available on and off of campus to help those dealing with addiction.
