Maker Monday in the Maker Studio - Alarm clock from concept to finished product
Finding no satisfaction in commercially available products, Barry Bortnick designed a custom alarm clock
using a Raspberry Pi as the core. Design goals include a professional finished retro appearance, custom
software features and use of materials that can be found locally and easily worked.
Come and learn about the process of design, making, finishing and programming the clock with Barry
Bortnick, a local amateur designer, maker and hobbyist.
Maker Mondays are a series of events where local makers from within and outside of the MRU community come and share what they are working on with a view to showing us the possibilities with the tools and technologies in the Maker Studio. Meet the Maker and ask all the questions you have about their project.
