Python is a high-level, interpreted language that is popular because of it’s nearly limitless capabilities and ease of use. Have you wanted to work with text in an interactive way before or are you curious to know more about what Python can do with text? This workshop discusses both! Learn more about the basics of Python through learning about string data types, user input, if statements, dictionaries and arrays. Put it all together and create the code for an interactive story that you can share with others! Online and in-library resources will be provided at the end of the workshop, as well as a cheat sheet that you can use later, as you continue to develop your Python programming skill set!

Registration for online events will close one hour before the start of the event. You will receive an email reminder one hour before the event start time with a link to Google Meet where the event will take place. We look forward to seeing you there.
