Fair Dealing Week 2022 is Feb 21-25 (reading week), but we’re going to celebrate early through a series of mini workshops exploring a variety of fair dealing topics. In “Fair Dealing on Social Media”, MRU’s Copyright Advisor will explore how fair dealing works on public platforms, how algorithms by social media platforms understand user rights, and how fair dealing leads to innovation in online environments. MRU employees and students are welcome to attend.
