Everyone is invited to participate in the performance of Alvin Lucier's experimental composition, “I am Sitting in a Room” in the Ideas Lounge on March 14 at 4pm. The piece will be performed by MRU’s Dr. Guy Obrecht, and there will be a brief talk at the beginning by Dr. Ada Jaarsma about Lucier’s composition, as well as an interactive discussion afterwards. This event is part of Ada’s Sonic Existentialisms class, this semester; guests will include graduate students from UofC who are working on multisensory research practices.
