MRU students, staff and faculty are invited to explore the world of Craftivism guided by Dr. Carolyn Bjartveit and two third year Bachelor of Child Studies students.

This workshop will explore the origins of Craftivism as a tool for gentle protest and social change. Participants will learn about the intersection of craft and activism and have their own opportunity to practice self-reflection while they create a hand-made craft that embodies Craftivism.

No experience in crafting is necessary to attend this workshop as participants will be guided through the process and materials will be provided.
