Published literature on family members' experiences with assisted dying is minimal, with a limited number of studies exploring the perspectives of bereaved family members. Dr. Powell's presentation focuses on the findings and recommendations from her dissertation research that aimed to understand the experiences of family members whose loved ones receive MAiD. Dr. Powell also discusses how MAiD implementation, policy, and procedures may have impacted these experiences.
