Are you interested in the new Minor in Data Analytics? Wondering if it is the right minor for you? Interested in finding out more about what students do in the minor? Then join us for a showcase of student work and information session!

Student work showcased includes a poster on Classification of Social Innovation Conference Titles using Textual Analytics and three presentations from an independent project: 

  • Artificial Intelligence and the Environment: Exploring AI in Climate Adaptation and Associated Ethical Implications by Maren Walker
  • Trapped in the Loop: The Intersection of Algorithms, Addiction and Ethics in AI by Brooklyn Roan
  • AI in Self-Driving Cars: A Legal, Ethical and Societal Analysis by Amrinder Sekhon

After the presentations, our first class of students graduating with the Minor will tell you about their experiences in the Minor, why they pursued the Minor, and answer your questions. 

Coffee and donuts are provided.
