In response to the rising prevalence of authoritarian and fascist politics both globally and locally, it is imperative that we accurately identify and counter these movements. Accordingly, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology is hosting a keynote lecture by Dr. Rinaldo Walcott, along with a panel featuring Jeremy Appel, Kayla Preston, Eva Jewell, and Marcello Di Cintio for a critical discussion on the implications of authoritarianism and strategies for resistance.

This MRU event is organized by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and funded by the Faculty of Arts.

We invite all community members, as well as MRU students, staff, and faculty, to join us. Click here to register.
