SUMMARY:Data Decoded: Navigating Journal Open Data Policies
DESCRIPTION:Many journals have adopted open data policies that require 
 authors to submit data availability statements and\, at minimum\, encourage 
 authors to make their data open. But there may be uncertainty around 
 crafting data availability statements\, interpreting open data 
 requirements\, and how to manage conflicting expectations that often come 
 with confidential or proprietary data.\n\nIn this workshop we will address 
 those uncertainties and provide guidance on navigating journal open data 
 policies when they aren’t straightforward.
