With the phased return to in-person classes beginning on Jan. 24, we know that many students will be taking courses both in-person and online and are looking for quiet spaces to study on campus.

At the library, your success and learning experience is important to us. We've partnered with Student Learning Services to open two additional classroooms, located on the 1st floor of the RLLC, as dedicated spaces for students taking online classes.

Classrooms EL1451A and EL1451B will be open and available to students during open Service Desk hours. Classrom A is available via an online booking system through the MRU Library website, and classroom B is available to students on a drop-in basis.

To maintain the integrity of these classrooms we ask:

1. You ensure this space is available for students who need it - priority will be given to students who have come to campus to take their online classes. 
2. You maintain noise levels - students may need to respond to questions, or engage in virtual discussion. Please ensure you respect others' learning environments and maintain noise levels appropriate to the space.
3. You follow all rules for using the classroom - no food or drink is permitted and a mask consistent with MRU campus guidelines must be worn at all times. We encourage students to sanitize their hands when entering and leaving the space, and to wipe down their workstation with the provided disinfectant wipes when they are done.
