Join us in conversation with Neeraj Gupta, who will share his expertise on AI/ML/IOT and the evolution of emerging technologies in the Alberta landscape. Neeraj is Chief Strategy Officer and Advisor to the CEO at Attabotics, one of the most successful 3D robotics supply chain companies headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.

Attabotics is a Calgary-based robotics company that specializes in inventory management systems. Attabotics was named one of CNBC's 100 most promising startups in 2019, received a special mention on Time's Best Inventions of 2019, and was named Fast Company's 32nd most innovative company in 2020.

Bio:

Neeraj (he/him) is Chief Strategy Officer at Attabotics, one of the most successful 3D robotics supply chain companies headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. He is an expert on AI/ML/IOT, Product & Innovation Management, Strategy, International Business Expansion and Patent Consulting. He also advises Invest Alberta on Technology and Innovation Investments.


Neeraj holds a Bachelors of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Metallurgical and Material Sciences and Masters of Science Degree from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden in Scientific Computing and Mathematics. He also holds aPGPX in General Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is author of the book, Creating & Safeguarding a Strong Intellectual Property Portfolio, which was written in collaboration with SIDBI, Adelphi and KFW Bank Germany. He sits on the boards of Calgary Chambers, Immigrant Services Calgary, KTH Alumni, SIBC and Alberta IOT. He has also invested in several startups across the globe.


Emerging Technologies Consortium (ETC) is a regular event hosted by The Mount Royal Library in Calgary, Alberta where Mount Royal students, employees, and the general community come together to discuss a common interest in new tech developments to inform teaching, learning, scholarship and student experience. The ETC holds events for those who explore and adopt emerging technologies to come together to generate ideas, foster connections and share knowledge and expertise. Topics of discussion will include virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing, e-sports, machine learning, robotics, wearables, and more.
